Hillsborough Home

This was our second project for these clients. They had sold the first home Abacus had remodeled for them, and asked us to look at the house they were considering buying. We gave the house high marks for its remodel potential to enhance the family’s lifestyle. Abacus proceeded to develop and manage the project timeline.

We coordinated the sequence and overlap of specialty subcontractors and other finishers. Our close teamwork with the interior designers approached choreography as we adapted their creative vision to logistical and structural exigencies. We completely renovated the kitchen, five-and-a-half baths, and the laundry room. Every room in the home received custom upgraded finishes as well as built-in technology for all manner of media.

The master bath became a luxurious personal space, with a fabulous shower and a free-standing tub. We suggested having a refrigerator and espresso bar in the master bath, and had the pleasure of installing these. The perfect start to our clients’ day!
